This story is about a boy called Robbie.  He steps on the road to go fishing with his dad but how does he get in the coma?

Will Robbie wake up from the coma and will his dog Lucky come back from the dead and be with him again?

When Robbie is in hospital in come his friends to see him. He seems to be very happy and thrilled to hear their voices again and when he thinks things Tracy the nurse says them.  

I recommend this book for everyone only if you like sad stories and like dogs.

This book is about a boy who is called Robbie who lives in England. He was hit by a car outside his house in Tinverton, and sent into a coma.  But in his coma he can hear and smell.  He gets lots of visitors in the book. They don’t know whether he can hear them or not. The doctors are very unsure about whether he will survive or not. He is visited by his favourite football star, called Zola, and Robbie is given tickets for a football game and a football top.  Robbie was most worried about his dog, called Lucky.

I recommend this book for people who like football and like Michael Morpurgo books.

This book is set in the present day. In the story Robbie and Lucky are run over by a car just outside their house in Tinverton, where they live in a normal sized house.

Robbie and Lucky the dog have an accident, but it is not a serious one and they are only slightly injured, but Robbie does spend some time in hospital to recover from his injuries. 

I would recommend this book to anyone who is aged between 8 to 12 years, because the book is a mixture of emotions from being happy to feeling sad.      

I enjoy reading Michael Morpurgo's books because he is a very talented author, and I have read lots of his books ranging from simple picture books to longer novels for older readers.
