Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, God of the seas is accused of stealing the most powerful weapon in the world, Zeus's Master Bolt. He travels around the USA with his friend Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena Goddess of War, Wisdom and Useful Arts. His protecter Grover, a saytr, also accompanies Percy during his quest to find the Master Bolt.I would recomend this book to ages 9+. It makes Greek history so interesting. You get to know all the Greek Gods, and learn about them without realising. This book is also very, very funny.
I would also recommend The Percy Jackson Series: The Sea of Monsters, The Titans Curse, The Battle of The Laberinth and The Last Olympian.
USA The Greek world travels around the world in different places. For example, instead of Olympus being on Mount Olympus it is on top of the Empire State building and the Underworld is in Hollywood.
