Life of Pi

Life of Pi is about a Indian boy called Piscine or eventually called Pi after writing down all the numbers of Pi. His farther ran a zoo and in that zoo was a tiger that pi loved called richard parker if you are wondering why his name is richard the reason is that the names got mixed up.

A while after his parent broke the news that they had to move by boat to Winnipeg in Canada pi was not happy because he had a crush. Days after they were on the boat with all of the animals including the bengal tiger.

In the middle of the night there is a big storm and Pi goes to look while he is looking the storm hits the boat and takes away everything pi loves like his family and most of the animals so he jumps on the lifeboat and days after he finds Richard parker inside.

Calvin and Hobbes

Calvin and Hobbes are two funny characters known in a comic book. I have been reading this book for ages because it makes me laugh. The characters are:

• Calvin
• Hobbes (a stuffed tiger who comes to life in Calvin's imagination)
• Calvin's Mum
• Calvin's Dad
• Susie
• Miss Wormwood
• Mr. Bun
• Moe the bully
• Rosalyn the babysitter
• Charlie (Rosalyn's boyfriend)
• Principal Spittle

There are more but I cant really remember them all.

My Favourite one in Calvin and Hobbes is where Calvin is pretending to be Godzilla and he has just built a sand castle which is supposed to be Tokyo so he runs over the sand castle and then says "Godzilla". 

Bill Watterson was born in Washington DC in the USA. Bill Watterson made Hobbes the tiger from his cat Sprite. And he probably made Calvin from a annoying funny little boy!

I would recommend this book for 4 and over because little ones might get some bad ideas!

If you love finding out all sorts of things this book is for you. If you have a smart phone or iPod you can scan these codes and it will show you a bit more about the subject you scanned. This book is like Weird but True but this is like all of them in one book.
