Michael disappeared on the night before his twelfth birthday July 28^th 1988. Sailing around the world on the Peggy Sue with his parents and Stella Artois, Michael’s dog, they sail into a terrible storm. Michael wakes up on an island with Stella Artois but no sign of the Peggy Sue. Trying to survive on the island Michael and Stella get weaker and weaker. Hopefully he will survive in the wild….

I have found this a very enjoyable book to read so far and I would recommend this book for people who love adventure stories.

Michael used to live in England until one day when his Father’s work shuts down he can’t pay the rent for his house anymore, so with what money they have they buy a boat called the Peggy Sue and sail around the world.

But one night Michael falls of the boat! Where is he? He is not alone.

I enjoyed this book because it has a lot of adventure (I like that), and I would definitely suggest it to people who like adventure and Michael Morpurgo readers.
